A Most Happy and Blessed Easter to All!

I wish each of you the joy of family, faith, friends, and love.

Feel free to copy this image.  It's free clip art, compliments of Dover Publications.

Since this is National Poetry Month, I am making an effort to post some poetry.  I hoped to post one daily, but I'll be content if I post twice a week.
Here is an old, but beautiful poem.

Easter by Edmund Spenser
MOST glorious Lord of Lyfe! that, on this day,
Didst make Thy triumph over death and sin;
And, having harrowd hell, didst bring away
Captivity thence captive, us to win:
This joyous day, deare Lord, with joy begin;
And grant that we, for whom thou diddest dye,
Being with Thy deare blood clene washt from sin,
May live for ever in felicity!

And that Thy love we weighing worthily,
May likewise love Thee for the same againe;
And for Thy sake, that all lyke deare didst buy,
With love may one another entertayne!
So let us love, deare Love, lyke as we ought,
--Love is the lesson which the Lord us taught.

I leave you with that thought...
Love is the lesson which the Lord us taught... Beautiful!

Thanks to both Donna's! Today I was thinking about how blessed I've been with my blog friends. You two are up there at the top of the list... I feel like I can always count on your friendship!

Hugs and Blessings to you both!
