It is blistering hot for my part of the world! In the 100's, and I tend to feel overheated when it gets to be 75 or higher. Heat makes me tired and lethargic. I have been neglecting my blog, my housework, shopping, and just about anything that takes energy. I wish I lived near an icy cold lake! ok... enough whining...
This week has been busy. Doctor visits... yearly tests, which I hadn't done since 2004! Now that is procrastinating! You know... the mammogram, bone density, bloodwork, etc., etc...
I am also supposed to be planning what to pack for next weeks camp. Sounds like it will be a hot weather year, and I do not have the figure for shorts! I only have two of the capri length, so tomorrow I am hitting the local Walmart sale with hope that they still have a few of the "big gal" sizes left.
I wish I had something more excitng to share... I'm even yawning while writing this post, but I promised myself I'd write something today... Sorry, this is it! LOL!
Just in case they are reading my blog... "Happy Birthday to Brian Peoples (one day late) and Ms. Jessica (today is the day)! I hope you both had a wonderful birthday. I love you both so much!!!

Well, at least you're getting the doctor checkups now, LOL! It's been unseasonably cool here and we have been loving it, after getting broiled the last couple of years.
Have fun at camp!
Donna,
How I envy your cool weather. My poor air conditioner is working overtime. I still haven't found enough hot weather clothes. I may have to take a trip, from the campgrounds, to a nearby laundromat... maybe it will be air conditioned! That would be ok! LOL!
Hugs!

Oh, Nita Jo...one thing I've learned is that people who suffer from MS really suffer in any kind of heat. Have you seen the vests etc. that they have? Tried one?
They told Toby to not eat hot food or take warm showers even. It's a trigger as you know to the lesions in the brain. I hope cold weather comes soon for you.
Have a great time camping.
Love,
Pam
Pam, I heard about the vests, but forgot to check into getting one. I wasn't sure I was going. I had heard about the food and showers.
I was also told not to cook during the hot weather, and do things like avoiding a hot clothes dryer, hair dryer, etc.
So many things, I find I have to do some of it. I try to stay hydrated and stop to rest every little bit. It also helps to eat foods that have natural water like celery, green leafy veg. and fruits.
Tell Toby that he is still in my prayers!
Love & Blessings!

Have you noticed how during the Summer, everyone blogs a lot less than in the colder months?!! We've all seemed to not have much to blog about...
Get those pesky test...I hate them myself!!!hughugs
Donna,
I had noticed all my favorite blogs are moving at a slower pace. That's ok. It kind of fits the season. I did all my tests. Glad to get them over with.
Hugs!
